Jackie’s passion to serve disadvantaged communities led her to join EW. Originally from the far Southside of Chicago, Jackie has long been acutely aware of the disparities between privileged/favored communities and those often ignored and isolated. She aims to serve those underrepresented populations by bringing her big-picture thinking and visioning skills to every project to create more vibrant, cohesive, and supportive environments for all.
Jackie holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Oregon in Portland with a specialization in Housing, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
While Jackie has focused primarily on housing and small commercial projects, she is excited to get to work on community projects at EW.
She loves to read books that help to develop her as a person, paint, go on walks exploring the city, and commune with people over a shared meal.
