On November 5th dotORG Weekend made its debut right here in Seattle. Founded by Erik Azar, dotORG Weekend was a 54-hour event that brought together volunteer technology professionals, social media experts, grant writers and attorneys to focus their efforts toward aiding non-profits. Environmental Works was fortunate enough to be one of those non-profits.
Our organization was able to get social media expertise and work closely with a technology professional to make updates to our website. We even got to attend a grant writing class. It was a great opportunity to make some new contacts and we learned a lot from the professionals that we worked with.
