Unity Village is a new affordable family housing development located in White Center. Thirty dwelling units provide homes for a diverse group of families. Six of the units are set aside for formerly homeless families and six units are set aside for large families. In addition, the buildings contain an office for an on-site manager, a community room/classroom with small kitchen and restrooms. The project is designed around a central courtyard that provides a playground, garden space, bike parking and informal barbeque areas for the residents. The project was designed to exceed Evergreen Sustainable Development Standards.
