Join the Homeless Remembrance Committee on June 11th for a celebration of Leaves for our loved ones.
During our City’s season of trees, we’re going to celebrate the first embedment of “Leaves of Remembrance” in Seattle sidewalks to honor our homeless friends and family who’ve gone before us. The Homeless Remembrance Project Committee has spent eight years working toward this day.
We’ll have FOOD, MUSIC, SHORT SPEECHES (very short!), GOOD COMPANY, and a look at the FIRST CLUSTER OF LEAVES, embedded in the sidewalk in front of a very important place to the homeless community, Noel House / Bakhita Gardens.
