Michael Mackie

Director of standards + QA/QC, Senior Project Manager

Mike (he/him) was drawn to Environmental Works by the nonprofit clientele it serves and the innovative projects it does.  Before entering architecture, he worked as a carpenter for ten years.  His focus at EW has been affordable senior housing construction, affordable housing renovations, office standards, and building science and technology.

Education:

• Masters in Architecture, University of Washington

Representative projects:

• Shepherd’s Garden (an affordable senior community in Lynnwood, WA)

• Salishan Gardens (a low-income senior housing project in Tacoma, WA)

• The Pearl on Oyster Bay (low-income housing for seniors on the Kitsap peninsula)
