Cierra Higgins
Architectural associate II
Cierra (she/her) is a strong supporter of human-centered design and community advocacy. Before joining Environmental Works, she pursued her dual Master’s degrees in Architecture and Urban Design at Washington University in St. Louis. During her time there, she gained a love for finding design solutions that had a significant social and environmental impact on marginalized communities. This led her to be later awarded the E. Todd Wheeler Health Fellowship at Perkins&Will, where she continued her research exploring how thoughtful design can positively influence public health and community wellness.
Outside of work, Cierra volunteers her time to the AIA Regional and Urban Design Committee as well as NOMA NW with the goal of uplifting minority voices within the profession. In her free time, she enjoys performing music, traveling, kayaking, and playing with her dog, Milli.
