Melissa Schoch

Project Architect, Design Committee manager

Melissa (she/her) entered architecture because of her belief that everyone deserves shelter and a place to call home.  She was drawn to Environmental Works by its mission and ideals.  She is committed to community design as a tool that enriches cities and spaces through empowering communities to design to their needs and wants.  During her architectural studies, she learned hands-on skills in construction; and was inspired by architecture’s capacity to empower people and change their lives for the better.

New to Seattle, Melissa is excited to learn and absorb as much about the city and people as she can. In her spare time, she enjoys being outside in nature and spending time on the water.
