Blue Lake Nature Garden
An interpretive Nature Garden for all ages in Fairview, Oregon
The Blue Lake Nature Garden is located at the Blue Lake Regional Park along the Columbia River in Fairview, Oregon. Barker Landscape Architects (now with Environmental Works) developed an interpretive nature garden for all ages that was constructed by volunteers. The garden includes an edible garden, an ethnobotanical garden, a fragrant garden, a touch garden, a black and white garden, a compost and worm bin gathering area, a hand pump, an entry arbor, a crushed rock path, and edging with logs, cobbles and boulders.
