Denise Louie Education Center: Sandpoint | Seattle, WA

Six childcare classrooms for up to 97 infants, toddlers and preschool-age children occupy the central portion of the historic landmarked Building 9 at Sand Point’s Magnuson Park, formerly barracks for the naval station. In addition to high-quality multicultural learning, Early Head Start, and family support services, the Denise Louie Education Center has located its administrative offices at the site, totaling approximately 14,000 SF of tenant improvement construction. Restored historic skylights with light control devices provide abundant natural light when desired – an important environmental characteristic for optimal learning.
