Salishan Gardens | Tacoma, WA

Salishan Gardens is a 55-unit low-income senior housing project built as part of the new Tacoma Hope VI community – Salishan. Developed and designed through an integrated design process, the project includes such green features as heat pumps, heat recovery ventilation systems, solar hot water system, and a durable rainscreen envelope system. The design features a series of community gathering spaces to allow the residents to easily socialize, including a library, bistro, computer room, and meeting room connected to outdoor gardens and covered sitting areas.
