Transit-Adjacent Senior Housing And Landscape Services

Senior City Apartments & KWA Offices | Federal Way, WA

EW worked with KWA to provide this 5-story senior housing project above administrative office space for the Korean Women’s Association and an underground parking garage. The apartments are all oriented to maximize daylight and views, either to the city beyond or the central courtyard. The main level provides a large social hall that opens to both a patio and courtyard. Landscape design services included native plantings for the site, green roofs and site furniture.

COMMUNITY DESIGN

Green charrette including city officials, potential residents, design team, contractor and Sound Transit. The design developed through an informal design review process with the City (including the Mayor) and Sound Transit.
